All-on-4 Implants Turkey

All-on-4 is an implant-supported treatment system that allows the planning of a fixed full jaw prosthesis on four implants strategically placed in a jaw in eligible patients who are edentulous or have lost most of their existing teeth.

All-on-4 Implants Turkey

AWhat is All-on-4 Implant Treatment?

All-on-4 implant treatment is a treatment approach based on planning a fixed full jaw prosthesis on four dental implants in cases where all teeth in one jaw are missing or most of the existing teeth cannot be preserved.

At DentHolding Clinics, All-on-4 treatment is not applied as a standard package. The patient's bone structure, gum health, occlusion, existing teeth and long-term carrying plan of the prosthesis are evaluated together.

The final treatment plan is created after clinical examination and 3D CBCT imaging.

All-on-4 Who May Be Suitable For?

All-on-4 treatment can be considered especially in patients who are completely edentulous, use removable dentures, or have a poor prognosis for most of their existing teeth.

  • Patients with complete or almost complete missing teeth
  • Patients who want a fixed solution instead of a removable prosthesis
  • Patients with multiple teeth in one jaw that cannot be saved
  • Patients whose bone structure is suitable for implant placement
  • Patients planned for full jaw implant-supported fixed prosthesis

Not every patient is suitable for All-on-4. In some patients, All-on-6, a different number of implants, or additional surgical procedures may be more appropriate.

Pre-treatment 3D CBCT Planning

In implant treatment, it is not only important how many implants will be used, but also in which areas and at what angles the implants will be placed.

With 3D CBCT imaging, bone height and width, sinuses, anatomical structures and areas suitable for implant placement are evaluated.

At DentHolding Clinics, we consider surgical planning and prosthetic planning as two fundamental parts of the same full jaw rehabilitation, rather than independent of each other.

AHow to Treat All-on-4?

1. First Review

Patients coming from abroad can share their panoramic x-rays, CBCT images, if available, and intraoral photographs before treatment.

A preliminary evaluation can be made based on this information. The exact treatment plan is determined after the examination and 3D imaging in the clinic.

2. Clinical Examination and Planning

Bone structure, gum health, bite relationship, condition of existing teeth and planned prosthesis are evaluated together.

3. Placement of Implants

When the All-on-4 plan is deemed suitable, four implants are surgically placed in the relevant jaw.

If there are teeth that cannot be preserved, extractions may also be included in the treatment plan.

4. Temporary Fixed Teeth

When the primary stability of the implants and clinical conditions are appropriate, it may be possible to apply a temporary fixed prosthesis.

However, application of fixed teeth on the same day or in the early period cannot be guaranteed for every patient. The decision is made based on the stability of the implants achieved during surgery and the clinical condition of the patient.

5. Recovery Period

A healing period of at least approximately 3 months is usually required for implants to integrate with the bone.

Bone graft, sinus procedures, or other patient-specific factors may extend this period.

6. Permanent Fixed Prosthesis

After healing is complete, the implants, gums and bite are re-evaluated.

Measurements are taken, aesthetic and functional checks are made, and the final fixed full jaw prosthesis is prepared.

How Many Times Should You Come to Turkey?

All-on-4 implant treatment is usually planned in two visits.

  • 1. visit: Examination, 3D CBCT, necessary imaging, placement of implants and temporary prosthesis in suitable patients.
  • Recovery period: Generally a minimum of about 3 months.
  • 2. visit: Checks, measurements, fitting stages and application of the permanent fixed prosthesis.

The number of visits and total treatment time may vary if bone grafting or additional surgical procedures are required.

AWhat is the Difference Between All-on-4 and All-on-6?

In the All-on-4 system, the full jaw prosthesis is generally supported by four implants, and in the All-on-6 system, it is supported by six implants.

However, it cannot be said that more implants are automatically better for every patient or that four implants are sufficient for every patient.

Bone volume, distribution of implants, closing forces, prosthesis design and long-term care plan should be evaluated together.

Can All-on-4 Be Applied to Patients with Bone Loss?

Bone loss does not automatically preclude implant treatment.

With 3D CBCT imaging, the amount and distribution of existing bone is evaluated. While treatment can be planned for some patients by utilizing existing bone, some patients may require bone grafting, sinus lifting or a different implant approach.

AIs All-on-4 Treatment Painful?

Implant surgery is performed under local anesthesia.

Swelling, tenderness, or temporary discomfort may occur for a few days after the procedure. The patient is given medication and care recommendations appropriate to his clinical condition.

Do Smoking and Diabetes Obstacle to All-on-4 Treatment?

Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, active gum diseases and some systemic conditions may affect the healing of implants.

For this reason, the patient's health history and medications used are evaluated before treatment. When necessary, additional opinion may be requested from the relevant physician.

DentHolding Gum Care & Aftercare Protocol

The success of full jaw implant treatment is not limited to placing the implants in the bone.

The health of the gum tissues around the implants and proper cleaning of the denture are important parts of long-term care.

For this reason, All-on-4 treatment is evaluated within the scope of DentHolding Gum Care & Aftercare Protocol.

  • Gingival and periodontal evaluation before treatment
  • Professional gum care when necessary
  • Personalized oral care training
  • Training for cleaning under fixed full jaw denture
  • Monitoring of tissues around the implant
  • Recovery period checks
  • Obituary and denture controls
  • Long-term professional care plan
  • Care recommendations after the patient returns to his country

About Implant Brand and Warranty

The implant system to be used in the treatment is determined according to the clinical needs of the patient and the created treatment plan.

The implant brand used may have a product warranty provided by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's warranty does not mean that the implant will remain in the mouth without any problems for life.

Many factors affect the long-term success of implants, such as oral hygiene, smoking, gum health, general health condition, closing strength and regular check-ups.

AWhat Determines the Price of All-on-4?

The price of All-on-4 treatment is not the same for every patient.

The number of jaws to be treated, the implant system to be used, the condition of the existing teeth, the need for extraction, bone graft or additional surgical procedures, the characteristics of the temporary prosthesis and permanent prosthesis affect the total treatment plan.

Therefore, correct pricing should be made after evaluating the patient's images and clinical needs.
