Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is an aesthetic procedure that aims to lighten the color of natural teeth. At DentHolding Clinics, tooth and gum health is first evaluated; Then, the appropriate method is planned, taking into account the cause of the discoloration, existing fillings and coatings, and personal expectations.

Dental Implant: Not Just an Implant, A Treatment Planned From Beginning to Entire

Dental implant is a comprehensive treatment in which implants placed in the jawbone and prostheses prepared on these implants are planned together in order to create a functional and aesthetic structure to replace missing teeth.

At DentHolding Clinics, we do not consider implant treatment as merely placing the implant into the bone.

Bone structure, gum health, systemic health status, correct position of the implant, design of the prosthesis to be built on it, closing relationships and post-treatment care should be considered as a whole.

Because the aim of a successful implant treatment is not just to create an implant that sits in the bone; Our aim is to create a dental system that the patient can easily use, clean, function and is aesthetically compatible with the mouth.

Implant Treatment Doesn't End with Placing the Implant

It is the basis of implant. The real result comes with the correct prosthesis placed on the implant.

The design of the tooth or prosthesis on the implant is as important as placing the implant in the correct position in the bone.

For this reason, at DentHolding Clinics, we consider implant surgery and prosthetic planning not as two separate procedures, but as complementary stages of the same treatment.

First Question in Implant Treatment: Is Your Jaw Bone Suitable?

One of the first structures to be evaluated when planning a dental implant is the jawbone where the implant will be placed.

The height, width, density of the bone and the location of the anatomical structures can directly affect the implant plan.

For this reason, we start the initial evaluation of our patients before they come to Türkiye, based on imaging data as much as possible.

You Can Start Your Implant Evaluation Before Coming to Türkiye

If you have an existing panoramic dental x-ray, you can share it with us.

If you have 3D dental tomography / CBCT images taken for more detailed implant planning, you can forward the images themselves or the secure sharing link provided to you by the imaging center to the DentHolding Clinics team.

These images can help our physicians make a preliminary assessment of bone structure and possible treatment options before coming to Türkiye.

What Do We Examine in Online Implant Pre-Assessment?

Review Why is it important?
Bone Height Helps evaluate the amount of available bone on which the implant can be placed.
Bone Width It is important in planning whether there is sufficient bone support around the implant.
Anatomical Structures The relationship of the nerve canal, sinuses and other anatomical structures to the implant site is evaluated.
Existing Teeth Teeth that can be protected, areas that may require extraction and general oral condition are evaluated.
Gum/Periodontal Condition The current periodontal status is taken into account in order to create healthy tissues around the implant.
Prosthesis Plan Helps determine how many implants are needed not only by the number of missing teeth but also by the design of the final prosthesis.

Important: Online image evaluation provides preliminary information. The final implant decision, implant diameter and length, graft need and surgical plan are finalized after clinical examination and necessary imaging in Türkiye.

Does Every Missing Tooth Require an Implant?

No.

In modern implant treatments, it is not necessary to replace each missing tooth with a separate implant.

For example, in cases where more than one tooth is missing side by side, implant-supported bridges can be planned in appropriate cases. In cases of complete edentulism, fixed implant prosthesis systems carrying more than one tooth can be created by using a certain number of implants.

More Implants Doesn't Always Mean Better Treatment

Number of implants; The bone condition, design of the prosthesis, closing forces, cleanability and the patient's general treatment plan determine the number of missing teeth.

Implant Systems for Complete Edentlessness

Fixed implant-supported prosthesis systems can be evaluated in suitable patients who have lost all their teeth or have a poor prognosis for most of their existing teeth.

These may include All-on-4, All-on-6 and different patient-specific implant-supported fixed prosthesis systems.

Not every system is suitable for every patient. How many implants will be used is determined by evaluating the bone structure, jaw anatomy, chewing forces and final prosthesis design.

More About All-on-4 and All-on-6

To examine full jaw implant systems separately, you can access our All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatment pages in the treatments menu.

We Also Evaluate Your General Health Before Implant Treatment

In implant treatment, not only the jawbone but also the general health condition of the patient is important.

Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, conditions affecting the immune system, bleeding disorders or the use of certain medications may affect the implant plan.

The opinion of the treating doctor may be required, especially for blood thinners, some drugs that affect bone metabolism, and certain systemic diseases.

While implant treatment can be performed in some patients with the approval of the relevant specialist physician, in some cases implant surgery may need to be postponed or not performed.

Can implants be made? We Make Sure It's Safe First.

Treatment decisions are not made based solely on seeing sufficient bone on x-ray.

The medications you use, the diseases you have experienced, and your current systemic condition are important in evaluating whether the treatment can be applied safely.

How Many Times Do You Need to Come to Türkiye for a Dental Implant?

For standard two-stage implant treatment, our international patients usually need to come to Türkiye at least twice.

The implant or implants are placed at the first visit. Then, a healing period is waited for the implant to biologically integrate with the bone.

In most cases, a recovery period of at least approximately 3 months is planned between the initial surgical visit and the permanent prosthesis phase. This period may be longer depending on the bone structure, the area where the implant is located, the graft application and the healing characteristics of the person.

Standard Implant Treatment

Usually 2 Visits to Turkey

1. Visit: Examination → 3D planning → Implant surgery

Recovery: Usually at least about 3 months

2. Visit: Check → Measurement / Digital recording → Denture rehearsals → Permanent teeth

Turkey Visit Plans for Implant Treatment

Clinical Status General Visit Plan Treatment Flow
Enough Bone Usually 2 visits 1st visit implant → healing → 2nd visit permanent prosthesis
Local Bone Graft That Can Be Performed Simultaneously with the Implant Also 2 visits in most suitable cases Implant + local graft in the same surgical session → recovery → permanent prosthesis
Advanced Bone Loss Requiring Separate Bone Graft Before Implant Usually 3 visits or more 1st visit graft → healing → 2nd visit implant → healing → 3rd visit permanent prosthesis

What Happens If Bone Is Insufficient?

Just because there is not enough height or width for an implant in the jawbone does not mean that implant treatment cannot automatically be performed.

In suitable patients, different bone augmentation methods can be evaluated to make the bone capable of supporting the implant.

Treatment Plan May Change If Bone Graft Is Required

The size of the bone graft and whether it can be applied simultaneously with the implant can directly affect how many times you need to come to Türkiye.

If small and local graft application can be done in the same session as the implant, the treatment can be completed within two visits in most suitable cases. However, if a separate and more extensive bone graft is required before the implant, a third visit to Türkiye may be required.

Bone Graft – Two Different Scenarios

Bone Condition Application Turkey Visit
Local Bone Support Required The graft can be applied in the same session as the implant placement. Usually 2 visits
Advanced Bone Deficiency First, bone augmentation is performed and recovery is expected. The implant is placed at a later stage. Usually 3 visits or more

3 How Does the Bone Graft Implant Process Proceed?

1. Türkiye Visit Clinical examination, 3D imaging, final surgical planning and necessary bone augmentation/grafting are performed.
Recovery Period The necessary time is waited for new bone formation and graft healing. The duration varies depending on the type of transaction performed.
2. Türkiye Visit The healing area is re-evaluated and the implant or implants are placed if appropriate.
Implant Healing A healing period of several months is usually required for implants to integrate with the bone.
3. Türkiye Visit Measurements or digital records are taken, prosthetic rehearsals are made, and permanent implant-supported teeth are completed if appropriate.

Why Do We Wait After the First Implant Visit?

After the implant is placed in the bone, the body needs time to form a biological connection with the bone around the implant.

This process is one of the important stages of implant treatment.

Usually At Least About 3 Months After Initial Visit

In most two-stage implant cases, a healing period of at least approximately three months is usually planned before moving on to the permanent prosthesis stage.

This period may be extended depending on the upper or lower jaw, bone quality, primary stability of the implant, bone graft application and the healing characteristics of the person.

Do I Feel Pain During Implant Procedure?

Implant surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia. The aim is to numb the treated area during the procedure so that the patient does not feel pain.

Swelling, tenderness, or mild to moderate discomfort may occur after the procedure. The amount of this may vary depending on the number of implants placed, whether a graft or additional surgical procedure is performed, and the healing characteristics of the person.

At DentHolding Clinics, personalized post-operative recommendations are created to carry out surgical planning as controlled as possible and to ensure that the post-treatment period can be managed comfortably for the patient.

Don't be afraid of implant treatment; Know the Process

Implant treatment is a more controlled process than many patients think.

Knowing what to do, why it is done, and when the next step will happen is an important part of the treatment experience.

Hygiene and Sterilization in Implant Treatment

Since implant surgery is a surgical dental practice, infection control, sterilization and appropriate clinical working conditions are important parts of the treatment.

At DentHolding Clinics, sterilization of equipment used in surgical procedures, preparation of the working area and infection control protocols are handled as part of the clinical process.

However, the long-term success of the implant is not limited to sterilization on the day of surgery. It is also important for the patient to maintain proper oral hygiene afterwards for the tissues around the implant.

Which is the Most Important Stage of Implant Treatment?

Many patients think of implant treatment as just a screw made of titanium or other suitable implant material placed in the jawbone.

However, the implant only forms the infrastructure of the final restoration.

Implant is basic. It is the Visible and Used Part of the Dental Treatment.

Having the implant in the correct position is critical for the correct design of the prosthesis to be placed on it.

In addition to the aesthetics of the final prosthesis, chewing function, closure, cleanability and its relationship with the tissues around the implant should also be evaluated.

For this reason, we attach importance to starting the implant plan with the final prosthesis in mind as much as possible.

What do we evaluate in implant supported prostheses?

Alan Why is it important?
Implant Position It affects the creation of the final tooth in the right place, aesthetically and functionally.
Closing It helps to distribute the forces on the implant and prosthesis evenly.
Esthetic The color, form, length and harmony of the tooth with the surrounding tissues are evaluated.
Cleanability It is important for the patient to clean the area around the implant daily for long-term care.
Gum/Soft Tissue It affects the health and aesthetic appearance of the tissues around the implant.

Why is Aftercare So Important in Implant Treatments?

Implant treatment does not turn into a treatment that does not require follow-up with the application of a permanent prosthesis.

As with natural teeth, plaque can accumulate around implants. Daily care and professional checks are important to maintain the health of the soft tissues around the implant.

One of the main questions, especially for health tourism patients receiving treatment in a different country, is:

“How will I take care of my implants after I return to my country?”

The main purpose of the aftercare approach we developed at DentHolding Clinics is to create a more systematic answer to this question.

We do not want to make your implant and send you away.

We see long-term maintenance of implant treatment as a part of the treatment.

The patient is explained how to clean the area around the implant, which areas should be paid special attention under the implant-supported prosthesis, and why professional controls are important.

Implant Care. GumHealth. Long-Term Support.

DentHolding Gum Care & Aftercare Protocol

DentHolding Gum Care & Aftercare Protocol is especially important for implant patients.

Because the implant itself does not decay; However, the health of the gum and bone tissues around the implant must be maintained.

Therefore, when the implant treatment is completed, we aim not only to deliver the patient's new teeth, but also to teach them how to clean them and what checks they need to maintain.

phase What Do We Do? Purpose
1. Implant & Gum Check Gums, prosthesis and general oral hygiene around the implant are evaluated. Supporting healthy tissues around the implant.
2. Professional Implant Care The necessary professional cleaning and care around the implant is evaluated. Helping reduce the risk of plaque and inflammation.
3. Implant Cleaning Training How to clean the area around the implant and the dentures on the implant is explained individually. To support the patient in maintaining proper daily care.
4. Personal Home Care A personal oral care routine is created according to the patient's prosthesis type. To ensure that he/she can continue his/her implant care after returning to his/her country.
5. Routine Follow-Up Plan Frequency of inspection and professional maintenance is planned according to personal risk situation. To support regular monitoring of the implant and surrounding tissues.
6. DentHolding Aftercare If necessary, information and remote communication support is provided after the patient returns to his country. To manage the post-treatment process of international patients more systematically.

Along with Your New Teeth, Know How to Care for Them

When you leave Türkiye, you will not only have your teeth on implants; We aim to leave you with a personal care approach on how to clean the area around the implant, what to pay attention to and how to continue your checks.

Surgery → Prosthetic Care → Personal Guidance → Home Care → Long-Term Implant Health

Your Implant Treatment Journey

1. Online Pre-Assessment Your photographs, panoramic x-rays and 3D CBCT images, if available, are evaluated.

4. Implant Surgery Implants are placed in planned positions. If necessary, appropriate local bone graft can be applied in the same session.
5. Healing A healing period of at least approximately 3 months or longer depending on the clinical situation is generally expected for the implants to integrate with the bone.
6. Prosthetic Planning At the second visit, measurements or digital records are taken and the teeth on the implant are prepared individually.
7. Final Teeth Final dentures are applied after aesthetics, function, closure and cleanability checks.
8. Aftercare Your implant and prosthesis care is taught and your long-term follow-up plan is created.

Do Implants Have a Lifetime Warranty?

It is not correct to give a single term or lifetime success guarantee valid for all patients for the duration of use of dental implants.

Long-term success of implants; It can be affected by many factors such as bone structure, systemic health, smoking, oral hygiene, periodontal status, care around the implant, prosthesis design, closing forces and regular professional checks.

Therefore, at DentHolding Clinics, we consider long-term implant care as an important part of the treatment.

Why DentHolding Clinics?
